Good Morning Cali!!!

Can you believe I just rolled out of bed? I slept the night and I do remember getting up to go to the bathroom and crawled right back in bed! Miracles do happen...okay I was just purely exhausted! Of course  a drink out at dinne last night did help!  

What surprised me is that no has posted! I guess everyone is sleeping in this morning and good on all of you!

I know there is a million things I could do this weekend, but I flat out decided...nope I am not doing a dang thing. I am going to enjoy the day!

Anyone have anything fun and exciting going on today?

Well I am going to make this a short post in hopes that some of you will pipe in here...make it a great day!!!

Mornin' Janine .. . and all!  I have a million things I could / should do, but I'm not either.  Going up to see my friend today for her birthday and we're "Doin' the Mouse" tomorrow.  Then I'm counting down . . . I leave for Alaska a week from tomorrow . . . and I'm in "gather" mode for packing.  Have a great weekend everyone!

Good   Mornin' Janine and Crew! I too slept in, until 6:30, and am now checking in here and   and wondering how to spend the day.  Shopping for some summer clothes, shorts and t-shirts and such probably. D told everyone all I needed for my birthday last week was gift cards for clothing and that's what I got, cards and cash, for which I am thrilled. Probably a haircut and......... who knows! Like you J I am just chillin this weekend. Oh, some time in the garden of course but that's always a good time for me. Man, I can't believe how long it is taking us to get our garden back to lush again after it was all ripped out a year and a half ago for the remodel.  It looks like it will be a beautiful day here in the foothills of San Bernardino, clear and sunny, and I hope it is just the same for all of you Kali Kids, where ever you are!      

Good morning Janine and Cali! Sammi actually let me sleep in to 6:30 today! Woo Hoo. LOL We have our usual Wally World / Albertsons errands then I don't know what. We were thinking about going to Morro Bay for the car show but I'm not sure I want to spend the gas to get there. Our money is very tight right now as I didn't have enough leave time to cover the time off I had to take with my kidney. I'm anxious toget that tax relief check as it's the only thing that is going to save us this month. Anyway, it's foggy here on the coast this morning so it's pretty chilly out there. We will take Kandy dog for a walk at some point today. Other than that, no big plans for today. Hope everyone has a great day, no matter what you do. Sue

Hi Janine and Calif Friends! How is everyone this morning?  I slept in too.  Just exaughsted after this week.  Three  late nights at the hospital.  Firt 2 nights were for the birth of Kingsley(my grandbaby boy!) when he was born.....  . then the 3rd was for Kiandra (my grandbaby girl). baby girl  I am happy to report EVERYONE is doing very well!  Yay!  That little baby boy is so, so precious!  It's hard to tear yourself away from holding him.  He is such a good baby.  My daughter Kira says he has only waken her up at 2:30 am and then not until about 0730!   Little Kiandra, she's 19 mos old, just has had the runs for too long, with an ear infection.  I stopped by and saw her last night after work and she is back to being her little *****y self!  Gosh, I don't know where she gets all of that energy and attitude!  lol Today, I have some friends coming over for dinner.  It's my girlfriends birthday......  .We are bbq'ing carne asada, I made some chicken enchiladas, bought some chicken tamales, beans, rice, chips,, salsa.........and Margaritas!!!    We are ready to Party down tonight!  Well, as much as we party... hehehehe  So we are doing the Birthday, Cinco de Mayo thing!     Should be fun. Well I thought I would "hop" in here before you all declared me a "Missing Person".  take care and I wish you ALL a great, great day! Awwww finally a day off.  I have nothing really to do today, except clean the house, do the laundry, go grocery shopping, buy some plants for outside, then get home before 4 to watch the NASCAR race.  Make dinner and then go to bed early to sleep!  I can't wait for Monday so I can be doing something productive where I get paid!!!! Good morning Janine and Calif friends, It must be something in the air, because I also slept in until 8:00 and that is not like me.    But, then again I was up at 4 am yesterday morning to get ready for work and didn't go to bed last night until 11:00.  Makes for a long day.  I am going to a Wedding at "The Reef" in Long Beach .  I have never been there, but I hear it is very pretty.  The wedding is outside tonight at 5:30pm.  I have already gone and got my toes done and now I have to do my hair, then I have an appointment at Clinique to get my make-up done, and then off to the wedding.
